Astrology isn't what most people think it is. It's actually a combination of science (astronomy) and math (geometry). Astrologers ascribe archetypal meaning to these planetary relationships and interpret them within the context of a chart. There are many different types of charts and systems of interpretation with none of them being wrong or right, but a different way of getting to the same destination.
As an Astrologer I consider myself an interpreter of energy.
Tarot employs energy as well; the energy of the relationship between the human psyche and the archetypes that play within the subconscious. When reading the Tarot, is is my job to tell a story that weaves together your energy and interpret it in the context of the symbols and archetypes presented in the cards. Everything is energy and although it may be hard to believe that people could communicate or read one another's subconscious thoughts and energies, it's a gift we all are given. Like any muscle, it needs to be exercised to maintain its strength. Tarot is extremely useful in self reflection, and removing blockages in your psyche that can be preventing you from allowing energy to flow into your life.
My practice is non-denominational, inclusive and open to everyone. The beauty of astrology is that it does not discriminate--we are all created equal under the stars.
